Tuesday!

Tuesday after class, Mom, Tasha, Charissa, and I headed downtown here to the local markets and Zocalo. It was nice to relax and shop and not shop til we drop! We found that the markets here are filled with absolutely beautiful ceramic crafts with so much detail in them! Of coursein the middle of this we had to stop about 20 times for Tash to go to the bathroom! (And for Peg to rest) ...We sat at a little restaurant whcih is now my new favorite place which has some great Victoria specials! We then walked to the Cathedral to show my mom and sister the beauties it beholds! I think that they were very impressed with the authentic murals on the walls.

After all of this exciting day, we walked over to Marco Polo, a great Italian restaurant, where we celebrated my birthday with a dinner! My host mom, real mom, Tasha, and the ISU students all came to help me celebrate! It was so aweosme to see the support that I got on this celebration with these people. I am truly blessed, and it is shown through all of the other people that are present in my life! I am so thankful for that!

We had this AMAZING pizza...It was like 3 feet big for a Grande pizza! And of course some drinks in celebration! After...They turned off the lights and sang Feliz Cumpleanos to me! It was great...Even Peg sang, "Feliz Navidad!" (Haha..I told you her Spanish gets good after shes had a few drinks!)
