First day of School: 19-05-08

First! Our alarm clocks did NOT go off for our first day! It was very sad but..we were not late!
Our first day of school at the Universidad was awesome! I love the campus...It is SOOO pretty! The campus is mostly students studying Spanish from America or Europe. There are very few Mexicans on campus. The campus also has as high school which is all Mexican students. We have a class that is a "Conferencia" which isn't for credit but is used to enhance our learning. I am in a class that provides Spanish sayings that are popular in Mexico but you would not learn in school. Then I went to my Culture class...That stunk..It was a literature class which was very hard so I switched out of that to a Mexico Today class. We then have a class from 11-2 which is all conversation. There are about 5 people in our classes and it is a lot of grammar and talking to each other.
Our mom picked us up from school and brought us home. Tonight, there was a concelebration at the Cathedral downtown. My roommate Charissa and I went to mass there at 5. It is such a beautiful Cathedral and it was filled with sisters. THe Bishop from Morelos was there and presided that mass (Which I didn't really understand at all) But it was awesome to experience.
