Today, about 15 ISU students and I had a great culture experience of Mexico. We all met at Starbucks (Our favorite central meeting place) and took a taxi to the bus station "Pullmen de Morelos" It is charter buses that are about $3 to go places. We took a bus to Jojatla which seems to be a very poor city south of here I believe. From there--another taxi (Which was a stupid idea) to Las Estaces. Las Estaces is a river/water park. It was soo cool! The river was soo clearn and they have little cliffs we could jump off of..Check out the pics! On our way home we took a van (This was our cultural experience) and packed into it to get back to the city to get home. It was fun--but Very very hot and the roads here are pretty bumpy!! On our way, we saw 3 little kids bathing, washing clothes, and playing in a river--It was hard to see that especially the river and the trash in it that they were playing in..
Tomorrow, my mom and sister come!! I am so excited to see my "embarasada" hermana!
