Last night, I spent the night at the hotel with Mom and Tash. This morning, we woke up and packed up for them to leave. I skipped my first classes, and my host mom came up for breakfast! She is soo cute. She brought a little gift for all of us!
I think that it was good for my mom to see and meet the person that I am living with now, and have the security of knowing that I am safe here. I am so happy with my housing placement, and think my host mom is great, and looks out for me just like my real mom. I think that my family and my host mom had a great connection, and I hope that we stay in touch with her after I am done here. (I think she wants to get some pics of MuMu also!)
It was hard to see them leave, because it makes me wish I was going home too! I love everything here; the culture, the people, my host mom, learning spanish, everything! But it was hard to see my home and family go back home. We had such a good time together the last 4 days that I am so thankful that God allowed them to come to see me, and spend my birthday time with me also.
